Nobody's getting chucked out if they decide to stay on British citizenship and permanent residence. People are taking citizenship now because if they wait they'll be required to renounce their British citizenship to naturalize.
- michaelt 6y agoThat, and they want the ability to travel to other EU countries a German passport would guarantee them - rather than waiting for the uncertain results of negotiations by the pro-brexit UK government.
- jashmatthews 6y agoYou only need a long-stay visa to get visa free entry into the other Schengen states for 90 days. No need to get a German passport for that!
