I think by definition if you are able to naturalize then you haven't moved over recently.
As you say, I think way more significant will be the numbers of EU citizens resident in the UK deciding to leave.
- rjsw 6y agoYou can move from the UK and claim permanent residence in another EU country until the end of this year.
- mcjiggerlog 6y agoBy "naturalization" I was referring to the fact the article is talking about people getting passports. You can't get a passport unless you've lived there for a substantial amount of years.
- panpanna 6y agoI assume he is not easily coming back either way. Hence does this detail really change the brain drain discussion?
