Aren't they the farthest possible thing? There is literally one entity (Facebook) controlling the supply (human beings with dopamine addictions).
- MattGaiser 6y agoThere is one supplier, but they almost function like a stock exchange or an auction house. You place per unit bids for actions/types of people and depending on what you bid, your ad gets shown to to different people. You would think that bids would eventually become quite economically efficient simply because of how easily conversion can be tracked.
