They are free to not take the government side in all matters. So, how are they not independent?
- glofish 6y agoIndependence means something else. It means not beholden to certain interests. Simply being in the pocket of the other party (opposition) does not make them independent. (Disclaimer: I don't know if this is the case, simply commenting on the topic of independence)
