I'd guess if US requested data to be solely US, that shift would probably be fine as currently singapore is mainly used as a backup and it'd be doable to have data centers in more distinct regions as currently US data is in just virginia. Also trump already announced he does not intend to permit microsoft acquiring tiktok to be enough to not ban them.
