I would prefer to see a cover letter in applications. It shows effort and that's important. Also, you only have to write one.

I would prefer to see a cover letter in applications. It shows effort and that's important. Also, you only have to write one.
- ghaff 6y agoOr at least you can have 3 generic bullets and one that's more specific to a position/company. To be honest, I probably haven't really written one for a long time. But that's because my jobs for the past 20 years or so have come through sending emails to people I knew well.
