What? So the reporter asked for a guess, Dr Fauci threw a number at the air, and you react to a guess by accusing it of being a lie?
And afterwards you failed to even point out any disagreement with the guess. You just threw an ad hominem and.... That's it.

I take back what I said. To a non guessed timeline, getting a vaccine quickly normally takes 10 years, that's short. So a best super case timeline for C19 would be critical staff June 2021, the general population at best would be mid 2022, but very very easily there could be never a vaccine even for critical staff. I don't know who you want linked in these partisan times but John Hopkins put out a press release saying limited release might start end of 2021 and that's going to be really hard to deliver - https://wjla.com/news/health/researchers-warn-coronavirus-vaccine-delivery-distribution-problems-are-looming https://wjla.com/news/health/researchers-warn-coronavirus-va... (Random fact, the vaccine I just started as a guinea pig for is under a 400 day trail, even in the very unlikely fact it works and things are done in parallel, that's 400 days)
- lern_too_spel 6y agoJohns Hopkins isn't developing a vaccine. Fauci's team is (in collaboration with Moderna). The latter's report on when a vaccine will be available is straight from the horse's mouth. Note that he didn't say wide availability. He has consistently stated that will come later. https://www.forbes.com/sites/karenrobinsonjacobs/2020/07/24/no-coronavirus-vaccine-likely-by-years-end-fauci-says/#42e79ebf5b7e https://www.forbes.com/sites/karenrobinsonjacobs/2020/07/24/...
