Poll: Do you eat banana peels?

- bioinformatics 16y agoOnce I read in a book, "Everything you wanted to know about drugs and were afraid to ask", that some people smoke dried banana peels. The books tells you that you have to dry them in the oven, and it's not guaranteed that you are going to get high by smoking it. But if you have the right company, music and are in the mood, you might even get high.

- briandoll 16y agoAwesome. I've never read that book, but I loved the Dead Milkmen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dead_Milkmen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dead_Milkmen) when I was a kid. One of their songs talked about smoking banana peels and that was enough for, um, some of my friends. Dried in the oven and... no effect. Glad there was some remote possibility it could have been more interesting. I've always wondered if that was just a joke on their fans or not!
- bioinformatics 16y agoI might be wrong about the title, as it has been more than 20 years now, but I remember pretty well the answer in the book. Never tried, though.

- fisadev 16y agoHe isn't giving any info or asking anything about hacking diets, he's only asking if we eat banana peels. With that criteria any question in the universe could be on topic. "Do you watch humor movies?" --> Is about hacking your emotions with humor...
- d2 16y agoYou can eat banana peels, but beware of pesticides because the producers assume you're going to throw the peel away. I'd go for organic or once you grow yourself.
