That is my primary fear too, although I'm optimistic. I wish there were more, larger and longer term studies to check this. What if you get 1000$, but you are allowed to use them only for food, health and shelter? Any kind of luxury would require you to work, or educate yourself to work better. I feel kinda bad for suggesting it, but can't articulate why.
