I just started learning RoR recently. As mentioned in the other comments, Michael Hartl's "Ruby on Rails Tutorial" (http://ruby.railstutorial.org/ruby-on-rails-tutorial-book http://ruby.railstutorial.org/ruby-on-rails-tutorial-book) and the Rails Guides (http://guides.rubyonrails.org/ http://guides.rubyonrails.org/) are all you need. The Railscasts are a great resource as well - http://railscasts.com/episodes/archive http://railscasts.com/episodes/archive And a good starting resource for Ruby is the pickaxe book - http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Ruby-1-9-Pragmatic-Programmers/dp/1934356085/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301754318&sr=8-2 http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Ruby-1-9-Pragmatic-Program...
