The main problem I had on physical office was disruptions to answer questions and many meetings. I was advocate for async comms (PROPERLY using Slack, Teams, etc), but not everyone was on the same page. Stopping my concentration on code architecture, code writing, managing AWS infrastructure to give random consultancy, or meetings with little purpose was a real point of pain for my productivity
