This is a good thing, not a bad thing. I would say it corrects job markets, turns them from slavery due to lack of options, into fair competitive markets on both supply and demand sides. It will not affect day to day life very much unless you've been underpaying for a vital service (in this case, you're the slave owner). Then all the slave owners will just have to pay more for services that they want.
