As much as I love AMD and that they are now competitive +/- in most cpu metrics, Intel held its own with a lot of 14++ inventory that is only now shifting to 10nm. Reality is, there is no way TSMC would be able to mfg. all of Intels cpus even if both wanted it. What I can see happening is that Intel licenses some IP from TSMC.
