Women joining the workforce is the real issue here. Society has not adjusted since that event.
To be clear, this is not a criticism of women working or their ability, but a fundamental change in human behavior.
It will take some time for society to figure this out.
- throwaway068 6y agoIt's not. Most people want kids. Put a 500% tax on China imports and the economy will become sane again, allowing people of every "class" to breath.
- IanDrake 6y agoI didn't claim women don't want kids, that's on you. My claim is that we now have an economy and standard of living set up for dual incomes. This is relatively new and is not conducive to raising children.
