> An Inflection Point to Accelerate the Realization of our Mission
It makes me sad to think that someone wrote this headline and thought it really meant something.
Congrats to the SO team, I guess.
- gameswithgo 6y agoI guess eventually you get to some substance. They are going to focus on "stack overflow for teams"
- Doctor_Fegg 6y ago"Slack Overflow"
- frandroid 6y agoThis name illustrates the limitations of this strategy. I like the idea of SO for Teams, but we already have Github Wikis, Github issues, and our team's slack instance.
- mattbee 6y agoWhich is, of course, to immanentize the eschaton.
- teh_klev 6y agoHail Eris!
- slim 6y agoyou mean that they should have ipo'd earlyer or that we should have an exclusive stock market for devs ?
- jdhawk 6y agoSomeone took their MBA vocabulary too seriously.
- draw_down 6y agoWell, I kinda doubt the person at Wal-Mart who tells me to have a nice day has sincere wishes about my day. You can just do a job. It is possible to just write copy. Not everyone is rube.
- falcor84 6y agoWell, assume you have a graph of progress over time, with 0 being just the mission plan and 1 being a full implemention. Then if your graph had a positive but declining slope, due to depleted funds, and now you get a cash injection, you'll hopefully see an inflection point marking a switch from negative to positive acceleration, towards realizing the mission.
