I created a GitHub account and started a project because a recruiter told me I needed to demonstrate my coding skills if I wanted anyone to take me seriously as a junior engineer prospect. Trying to get your first gig as a professional web developer when you're in your late forties is hard work! Then the project I started decided to trigger my obsessive behaviours and take over my life. And so it goes.
