Are you the only house on that road? I know a rural mail carrier and a large portion of their customers live on dirt roads and they deliver to them. However, they won't deliver packages to your door if you're the only house on the road and it's over a certain distance.
- leesalminen 6y agoNo, there’s plenty of houses on the road. We fall into the “distance” category. We’re 1.1 miles from the end of the pavement. I believe they use an OR operator in that decision and not an AND. They won’t deliver if you’re the only house on the road OR if you’re over a certain distance from a paved road.
