I dont know of a business model, but a TCM practitioner would fit the rest of the criterion. Many of the plants used in traditional chinese medicine are extremely dangerous to use otherwise. One I know, if injected, causes death. If you breathe the smoke of the same burning material, you cannot speak. But just like all drugs, they have their intended purpose if used wisely. Now, how about would they get around the FDA? It's simple: It's the chemical application of the Tao Te Ching. It's cheap, but pull the "spiritual and religious" card.
