Perhaps to make them "stand-out" less (so they don't distract you when you're skimming the code).
- sandGorgon 16y agothis is interesting - colorscheme as a reflection of programming philosophy. I actually tend to read (and write) comments a LOT. Which is why, I simply am not able to use any colorscheme that tries to hide comments.
