You probably don't want your primary physician to also be your surgeon, anesthesiologist, endocrinologist, and any other specialty you need. I'm sure there are some primary physicians that could pull it off and wear all the hats. That's fine. The point is there are multiple hats. It doesn't all fit in one hat anymore.
