Yes, exactly what Europe needs is importing homeless people from the US.
- contrarianmop 6y agoWell they wouldn't be homeless if their government (and by extension society) would have taken care of them during a pandemic the likes of which we havent seen since the early 1900’s. As we did in Europe because you know being patriotic doesn't mean bombing nations in the name of freedom while throwing your fellow people under the bus first sign of trouble. So yes, I would like many of the new homeless americans to be given the chance of a new life in an EU country of their choosing.
- j_walter 6y agoThis is an article that is poorly written and leaves out many things. One being that 2/3 of those unemployed or underemployed have been getting more money than they did when they were working (not "in some cases" as the article suggests). In no way should people have been late on rent yet since the extra $2,400 a month doesn't run out till next week. Those people have been fully taken care of already...you are talking about things you clearly have no grasp of because you don't even live in the US to see what is going on.
