- trotsky 16y agoS3 doesn't do de-duplication, but many platforms that work on top of it do. The pricing for Cloud Drive is lower than native S3, and they don't charge for transfers - so IMO they are doing dedupes. It'd be kind of crazy not to with a consumer service where the point is to hold a lot of duplicate data.
