I agree to an extent. AWS is beginning to feel like a duct taped spaghetti mess. It is becoming increasingly difficult to do things “right” without getting deep into their confusing documentation. However, I’m not necessarily sure that it is the wrong approach. You can use AWS at almost any level you like and if you go deep into the woods with any service you’re eventually going to find yourself buried in documentation.
