What I like to do is to just just put out provocative views that I don't necessarily hold, just to see what happens. If there's something epistemologically wrong with them, some smart person will probably correct you, for free. If there's something emotionally wrong with them, some indignant person will probably chastise you. Either dimension is important. Message boards are good places to do this.
