This is the same thing I've found, in Brisbane.
People apply for jobs without skills, without hobbies involving development, without experience and without even looking at the website.
I simply don't understand it... Are they hoping to get employed to twiddle their thumbs? Do they think they can pick it up on the fly?
- lwat 16y agoWhen advertising on seek.com.au we've resorted to adding additional filters, otherwise we get so many resumes that we just can't read them all. And yes, most of them are clearly from 'spray and pray' applicants with no relevant skills.
- Dylanlacey 16y agoWhy not add a code puzzle that has to be solved before accepting a submission? Then you'd weed out some of the spray.
