Exactly. This idea has merit and is worth thinking about. But in much of the Sun Belt, with some of the worst-hit states, it's going to be pretty hard to do until October or so: if it's not temp + humidity, it's sheer temp alone (like here in the Southwest). Not to mention we're in thunderstorm season. This can only be done with suitable outdoor spaces, which do not exist yet in sufficient quantities, and there's not enough time or money to build it now in time for August opening. (I'll admit I only skimmed the article. It may have addressed some or all of these points.)
