Where I am, the Pacific NW, the coolest parts of the day are (roughly) 2:00 AM through 10:00 AM. On 100F days it is still 90F at 8:00 PM, and the peak is around 4:00 PM. I’m not sure evening classes would change much, unless the temperature profile is drastically different in other parts of the country.
- jpindar 6y agoTemperature profiles are drastically different in different parts of the country. In low humidity areas, it does cool down in the evening. I've lived in San Jose and I remember noting how different that was from the humid east coast. Wind patterns near the ocean can have the same effect in some places.
