I'm weary of travel too, and most weary of doing touristy things. If I can I like to plonk myself into places for extended periods and take my time wandering around. For the most part I agree that travel is overrated. Most translations I've read of Lao Tzu suggests that he agrees too - we're in exalted company on this one.
