Most people using chrome makes plenty of sense to me. I'm surprised that Linux is so underrepresented and Mac users are so dominant. Any thoughts why?

Most people using chrome makes plenty of sense to me. I'm surprised that Linux is so underrepresented and Mac users are so dominant. Any thoughts why?
- redthrowaway 16y agoI suspect most people aren't using Linux as their primary OS at home. Macs are incredibly popular with programmers, designers, and Internet types, which pretty much encapsulates the HN crowd. In my [CS] department, at least half the students and almost all of the profs use Macs.
