Does SLC have an some advantage over the Denver metro area? It seems like both are pretty comparable yet the Denver has more room to grow; pollution is a huge problem in SLC. SLC may be a bit cheaper but I think it's catching up fast due and Denver is quite a bit more diverse and has a lot of cheaper suburbs. Perhaps I'm comparing Apples to Oranges but I've just always been surprised by the relative interest in SLC compared to the Denver area, at least by HN metrics.
