Arguing with random people online is unlikely to change their mind, especially when visiting those forums which are frequently in conflict. Everyone has entrenched. But in my daily life I have encountered people dabbling in conspiracy theories but not fully indoctrinated. Having long term conversations with them has helped in some cases. By long term I do not mean hours long arguments. I mean occasional conversations over the course of months.
