This all sounds right from my observations. It's mostly women who get involved in MLMs. I would bet that most of them don't make money. I've known only one person to actually make a good living doing it. I believe that the majority people dislike MLMs, but they may still participate to support their friend. Which also blurs the line between friend the customer uncomfortably.
