Show HN: Simple Next.js Boilerplate with TypeScript
- BrunoBernardino 6y agoI've been enjoying working with Next.js [1] in the last couple of years, and especially with a serverless architecture, deploying to Vercel [2]. I've got most of my projects working in this setup now, and so as I was starting to work on a couple of things more recently, I decided to pick one that I've had in production for a few months without issues, strip it to the bare essentials, and update all dependencies. It's in GitHub at https://github.com/BrunoBernardino/nextjs-boilerplate-simple https://github.com/BrunoBernardino/nextjs-boilerplate-simple . If people find these useful, I'll start a collection and release some with basic stuff like connecting to MongoDB, sending emails via Mailgun, passwordless user login, and more. Let me know what would you like seeing! I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for your attention and kindness. I really appreciate it! - BrunoBernardino 6y agoYou're welcome! Any ideas for other things you'd like to see in another boilerplate?
- bryanrasmussen 6y agoI guess I might like an elasticsearch example, and the passwordless login.
- BrunoBernardino 6y agoThanks, will add that to my list!
- BrunoBernardino 6y agoHey Bryan, I just got up an elasticsearch boilerplate, but haven’t published it yet. Do you want to take a look first and let me know if that’s useful? https://github.com/BrunoBernardino/nextjs-boilerplate-faunadb-elasticsearch https://github.com/BrunoBernardino/nextjs-boilerplate-faunad... FaunaDB was another thing I was asked about, so I did both together, which seemed fitting, as you can’t really use FaunaDB for fuzzy searching.
- bryanrasmussen 6y agoThanks, looks useful. Sorry didn't see this earlier.
