This is a side note, but: I tried to install newpipe (by first installing F Droid), and Google prevented my pixel 3 from doing so because I am a user of Advanced Protection Program. The OS has application permissions for apps: why is a feature designed to protect my account (and only my account) preventing me from independently installing free and open source software?
