I meant by putting money into index fund.
- koheripbal 6y agoAlternative startups aren't great investments - even on the index level, because of the large number of corporate failures that happen. Think about the complete collapse of the US solar industry a few years ago. Solar might win, but that mean the companies that make it will be part of the index you invest in.
- christiansakai 6y agoYeah I am aware of that. I think for me just a way of putting my money where my mouth is. I won’t put everything there of course
