- Peepootoler 6y agoWang, Oh, Ouchi... Asian names can be hilarious for an English speaker. The incident itself is not that hilarious on the other hand.
- LyndsySimon 6y agoThe reverse is also true - I recall reading an artucle that lists English names and their (often offensive) homonyms in Cantonese.
- LyndsySimon 6y agoThere is a hypothesis, “nominative determinism”, that posits that people tend to gravitate toward professions that “match” their names.
