I believe Ctrl+D should send end-of-file to console applications, ending the input stream to the program from the shell, while Ctrl+C kills the application.

- personalcompute 16y agoYou're correct. Specifically, Ctrl+d sends EOF, and Ctrl+C sends a signal, SIGINT.
