This could affect American tech workers traveling on business, even outside of China or Asia. A lot of developed countries require Americans to obtain a visa waiver to enter their country. Even Europe is implementing theirs, the ETIAS. We might see a lot of things closing off, irrespective to Americans, or maybe even much softer versions of the great firewall of China occurring, over actions like this. Even if I am way off, it is still worrisome.
