I recently started using this script in a dedicated directory in my home folder: /home/user/daily_logs/ ---- #!/bin/bash ## create personal log file for tracking tasks vi logfile_$(date +%m%d%y_%j) --------- This creates a logfile date stamped so I can reference what I was doing that day.
