Note Moderna's vaccine is using newish technology in that rather than being injected with bits of the virus, dead virus or attenuated virus, so your body can mount an immune response, you are given RNA which encodes the bit of the virus - so your body makes the virus bit itself, which then leads to the immune response. How this compares to the other approaches will be interesting.
