We're working on a large internal web application, and got huge benefits out of HTTP/2. It allows us to make smaller purpose REST api endpoints and do many calls, instead of trying to bundle everything together in larger endpoints. Being able to parallelize cheaply greatly simplified our architecture and API design, and it costs us nothing.
