I seriously hate LEDs on things. Please at least turn the LED off after a while, or have some mode to do it. My logitech speakers in my bedroom have a blue light on the volume knob, which is meant to sit on a desk or table. I had to put two layers of electrical tape on that one to block it out it was so bright. Without that it would light up an entire room. (Then again, I am somewhat light sensitive)
