Agree, but doesn't that also apply to Twitter and Facebook?

  Incentives for Twitter/FB are to keep advertisers happy. Incentive for TikTok is to keep the CCP happy. Given the geopolitical aims and ambitions of the latter, you can see why they aren't comparable.
