Money isn't waterproof where you live?
- moolcool 6y agoCanada (and many other countries) has polymer bills
- chrisseaton 6y agoPaper money isn't waterproof in the US.
- lostapathy 6y agoIt's pretty close, though. It easily survives a trip through the washing machine or a swim
- frosted-flakes 6y agoYes it is. It will get soggy, but once it dries it will be perfectly fine. It's mostly cotton, isn't it?
- chrisseaton 6y agoBut they rip when wet. They also rip when dry! British, Canadian, Australian bank notes can't be ripped when wet or dry - they're polymer.
- saagarjha 6y agoThankfully, you can exchange them even if they're totally torn up as long as you have the pieces.
- chrisseaton 6y agoWouldn't it be better not to have to do that thanks to them being waterproof?
- saagarjha 6y agoYes.
