I've started to notice a tremendous "herd mentality" I watched a school of fish the other day, how they just all swim together and suddenly thought "Apple Users". I probably do the same thing and someone could say "Apple Detractors". Is this new or am I only just now paying attention?

Why are you so obsessed with Apple users? There are plenty of cases where large numbers of people do something together.
