LXD is a container daemon akin to Docker
- hardwaresofton 6y agoThis statement is almost right but still wrong in a certain sense -- daemonization is not the issue here. In contrast to two comparable tools like podman and docker (docker is a daemon and podman is not), LXD sits at a level above either of those tools. The comparable tool to docker in the LXD ecosystem is lxc. LXD is built a level above lxc.
