If your framework demands you make certain choices in your architecture that's a bit of a smell isn't it?
- yen223 6y agoLots of frameworks were built when object-orientation were all the rage. I'm not going to insist on avoiding them just because the APIs were designed to be inherited from. To use a concrete example, it's going to be real hard to build an iOS app without inheriting from UIView at some point.
