I think the game changed a while ago. It is not Bitcoin mainstream if/when something bad happens to the monetary system anymore. It is many blockchain building alternatives to the monetary system. With Bitcoin being a digital gold, Ethereum being a decentralized central bank for layer two solutions running decentralized finance system (with stable coins and financial instruments) and perhaps other blockchains with different roles (payments anyone?).
