I was being pretty pendantic, to be fair it's a very common mistake amongst native speakers.
edit: just seen you're not a native speaker, which is quite interesting, as I normally only see natives making this error.
- lambdaba 6y agoThanks - I've been swimming in US culture and English since I was a kid (grew up in an eastern block country, nothing was translated). I've read more in English than any other language by far, probably heard more too, which is where I think this kind of error comes from.
