I find it discouraging that exceptionally little is said about the outcomes for those who survive a bad case. IMNSHO, the big scare isn’t death, it’s being out of breath for the rest of a considerably shorter life, or being tied to a dialysis machine, or being perpetually foggy brained and easy to anger, etc. The long-term damage to the country will be from damage to survivors, not from deaths.
